You know those movies/shows where the small rebel force is going up against the huge and powerful Empire? The kind where it doesn’t look like they have half a chance, but always manage to take down the battle cruiser or Death Star in the nick of time? The team made up a few extremely talented and determined individuals who take limited resources combined with talent, guile, and more than a few tricks up their sleeves who pull it off in the end?
Yeah, that’s eCrypt.
We’re not a huge team. We don’t have throngs of minions (evil or otherwise) to throw at a task. We’re a few very dedicated, very talented people with a great leader who trusts us to do our jobs and be clever about it.
Need a website up in a couple hours? No problem. Need to tune some encryption code to be faster and more efficient? You got it boss. Video? Press release? Quick photo shoot? Just say when.
We’re the kind of team that does stuff like “I know someone who I can ask for a little help that might get this fixed…” The thing is that “someone” is often a person who is the best at what they do and happens to be a friend of ours so we can tap into something much more clever and interesting than you can imagine.
We, as a team, see a challenge and think of all the crazy options to meet it, and then look at all the resources we have on hand and, yeah, sometimes we’ve pulled some pretty amazing rabbits out of the hat when we challenge conventional wisdom.
Funny thing, it seems to be working.
That’s what happens when a group of pros come together and attack problems with creativity, unwavering support, and guile.
Never forget guile.
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have a clever ruse to deploy that will distract the guards long enough to take down the power station and knock this star cruiser out of action for a while…
