BOULDER, CO – Apr 19, 2011 – eCrypt Inc. (OTCBB: ECRY) launches Privacy Now Radio, an editorial privacy and security focused podcast featuring expert interviews and recap of global news.
As a compliment to the popular educational video program Privacy Now TV, eCrypt launched Privacy Now Radio with the goal of bringing awareness to issues such as cyber crime, hacking, and identity theft, in an effort to reinforce the company’s mission, and illustrated the actuality of today’s cyber threats.
“There is a lack of a sense of context and relevance in security and privacy news. There is a lot of complex cyber security information just thrown out there, but it isn’t explained sufficiently for average people to draw a connection to how it affects their lives,” commented Brad Lever, President and CEO of eCrypt Technologies. “Our goal with Privacy Now Radio is to create that connection. The interview with Jay Cohen exemplifies this by exploring the reality and consequences of existing threats, from the point of view of an authority on the subject.”
In an exclusive interview in the episode titled “Cyber Terrorism Will Happen” host Tris Hussey interviewed Hon. Rear Admiral Jay M. Cohen (U.S.N. ret.) about the state of world cyber crime, cyber terrorism, and cyber security. In the interview Adm. Cohen discussed the real and credible threats the cyber world presents to everyone who uses the Internet. As the former Navy Chief Technology Officer, Chief of Naval Research, and later as Under Secretary for Science and Technology at the Department of Homeland Security, Adm. Cohen is a uniquely qualified expert in the global fight against cyber crime and cyber terrorism, and his insights into the reality of cyber threats we face are important for everyone to be exposed to.
Upcoming guests on the show will include hackers, privacy advocates, and other experts who will bring their individual insight and point of view on the topics such as privacy, security, and cyber crime. Privacy Now Radio is released every Friday morning and is available on www.PrivacyNowRadio.com and throughiTunes.
