Tris hit the ground running by leading the effort to revamp all of eCrypt’s online properties, including launching two new websites and contributing fresh content to the official eCrypt blog, YourPrivacyIsOurBusiness.com, and launching a weekly podcast PrivacyNow Radio. Tris’ efforts have already born fruit with several media appearances as well as converting users of competing products like Hushmail to eCrypt.
Bringing over 15 years of online, web site development, technology, startup, product management and social media experience, Tris is ideally suited to the task of engaging eCrypt’s user community. In addition to being a published author, Tris was also one of North America’s first professional bloggers, speaks frequently on technology and society, and teaches continuing education classes to University students. Tris holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology from Colby College in Maine, and a Master of Science degree in Quaternary Studies from the University of Maine.
